A registered sex offender in San Mateo County was arrested Monday on suspicion of possessing child pornography and failing to maintain his offender registration, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Alexander Jessup, 36, was the subject of a probation search in his home in the Emerald Hills area of unincorporated San Mateo County. During the search, deputies allegedly found child pornography.
Jessup was booked into the Maguire Correctional Facility for failing to register as a sex offender and on suspicion of being in possession of obscene material involving a minor. He was also found to be in violation of his probation.
